The purpose of UNT-LAN is to connect with alumni and friends and make a collective impact by recruiting and mentoring Latinx students for academic and career success.

All persons who have matriculated through the University of North Texas or its predecessor colleges are alumni. Friends of UNT include individuals who have served as members of the university’s faculty or staff, family members of UNT students and alumni, individuals who have served as members of affiliated boards, and anyone with an interest in the well-being of the university.
