The countdown has officially begun!
We hope to see you in Denton for UNT Homecoming Week, Nov. 2-7, 2026 — a time filled with school spirit, cherished memories and the opportunity to reconnect with fellow Mean Green alumni and friends!
Homecoming at the University of North Texas is more than a week on the calendar. It’s an invitation to be part of something bigger than yourself. Whether you’re returning to campus with memories to relive or stepping into your very first experience, this is your chance to help carry forward the legacy that makes our alma mater so special.

Monday, November 2*
Homecoming Picnic | 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Library Mall
Homecoming Picnic is the event to kick off Homecoming Week! There will be student organizations, departments, vendor tabling, live music and more. Food will be available for purchase.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside to Union 314/333.
Tuesday, November 3*
Yell Like Hell | 7 p.m.
Hosted by Progressive Black Student Organization
UNT Coliseum
Come out for annual homecoming spirit and dance competition, "Yell Like Hell," where student organizations, residence halls and Greek groups face off in themed routines. Livestream will be available, sponsored by The Online Student Experience, for those who are unable to make it to campus for the event.
Wednesday, November 4
Wine Down Wednesday (Homecoming Edition) | 6-8 p.m.
In partnership with UNT Athletics
Raise a glass with UNT pride! You’re invited to join us at Ruby Rodeo on the downtown Denton Square for a special Homecoming edition of Wine Down Wednesday — our monthly event series designed to bring together our UNT alumni community from across DFW. This event is FREE to attend, but we kindly ask that you register!
Thursday, November 5
Spirit March & Bonfire | 7 p.m.
The UNT Homecoming Spirit March is a fun way for everyone to get excited about the Bonfire and walk safely to the event. Scrappy and the Homecoming Crew will lead the UNT community in a spirit march to the bonfire site. Bonfire starts at 8 p.m.
Join us for "Fireside Sips" from 8-9 p.m at the Alumni Pavilion. Enjoy UNT alumni-branded wine and toast to an evening of connection and Mean Green pride. Festivities include fireworks, dance performances and the lighting of the bonfire built by the UNT Talons. Hosted by the UNT GOLD Alumni Network.

Friday, November 6
UNT Alumni Achievement Awards | 6 p.m.
We invite you to join us for a special evening honoring the 2026 UNT Alumni Achievement Awards recipients. Alumni and friends will gather to celebrate these outstanding members of the Mean Green family whose leadership and service embody the values and spirit of the university. Purchase your tickets today to reserve your seat — deadline to register is October 23.

Saturday, November 7
GameDay Grille: Homecoming Tailgate | Alumni Pavilion open 2.5 hours before game time (TBD)
Kick off the excitement at GameDay Grille, the premier alumni tailgate experience for UNT Alumni and friends. Come out and help us cheer the Mean Green to victory against the Rice Owls!
Skip the line and pre-register for food. Registration not required for attendance.

Homecoming Picnic and Yell Like Hell are hosted by the Division of Student Affairs. These events are open to all UNT alumni and friends, but not organized, staffed or programmed by the UNT Alumni Association.
