Byron Campbell

February 3, 2021 – Byron Campbell, UNT Day at the Capitol

Byron has over ten years of experience in the political and government arena on the local, state and federal levels. Starting his career in Washington D.C. after graduating from University of North Texas with a political science degree, Byron worked in every aspect of the governmental process. From running a Congressional campaign to directing a non-profit board, Byron has found success in each of his professional endeavors. In 2010 Byron launched his own political and legislative consulting practice where his clientele spans the gamut of the industry spectrum.

Wende Zomnir

March 3, 2021 – Wende Zomnir of Urban Decay

In the mid-’90s when the prestige beauty market was a boring sea of pink, red and beige, two renegades envisioned a Technicolor shake-up. As one of the original founders of Urban Decay, UNT alumna Wende Zomnir (’89) continues to lead the brand and its mission to deliver “Beauty with an Edge” to the world, always providing coveted products and an unexpected point of view.

Azim Rashid

April 7, 2021 – Azim Rashid on the Music Industry

A seasoned entertainment executive and strategist at global brands Motown, Universal, Atlantic, Capitol, RocNation and Columbia records, UNT alumnus Azim Rashid (’94) has worked with cultural icons and industry leaders for over two decades. Azim’s beginnings as a Rap artist with the Dallas based group NEMESIS led him into commercial radio, music retail and lifestyle promotion before forging a career in music and entertainment marketing.
