Sun Belt Conference Basketball Tournament
March 5-9, 2010 in Hot Springs, Arkansas
The University of North Texas, the UNT Alumni Association and North Texas Athletics invites you to join us at the following events held in conjunction with the Sun Belt Conference Basketball Tournament. The tournament and multiple special events will take place Friday, March 5 through Tuesday, March 9. Both exciting events are available free of charge.
Tickets
- $90 all tournament packages include tickets to every tournament game and seating located behind team bench during North Texas games. For best pricing and reserved seating purchase your tickets through the North Texas athletic ticket office.

Hotel Accommodations
- Contact Jon Burkett (940-369-8917 or Jonathan.Burkett@unt.edu) at the Mean Green Club to reserve a room at the Baymont on the Lake, the official hotel of the Mean Green Nation in Hot Springs. Room Rates start at $92 per night.

Friday – March 5th
- Pep Band Spectacular, Pep Band Concert featuring Sun Belt Schools with free hot dogs, popcorn and Coke products
- 6:30pm – 8:30, Convention Center, Horner Hall
- Hot Hoops in Hot Springs Headquarters, Join the Mean Green Nation in Hot Springs as Head Coaches Johnny Jones and Shanice Stephens host their pre-tournament radio show live and on location at Lucky’s Bar & Grill. Lucky’s will feature happy hour drink and appetizer specials including Mean Green Margaritas and Green Pride Beer.
- 8:30pm – 10:30, Lucky’s Bar & Grill, 711 Central Ave, Hot Springs
- Our Hot Springs Headquarters, Lucky’s Bar & Grill, will also host pre and post-game gatherings for the Mean Green Nation with specials including Mean Green Margaritas and Green Pride Beer.
Saturday – March 6th
- Dribble Drive to Summit Arena, Children 8th Grade and younger are encouraged to join Hot Springs and Sun Belt Officials in a Dribble Drive through downtown to the arena.

- Men’s and Women’s First Round Games

- Mean Green Send-Offs – Join North Texas Spirit Groups approx 1½ hours prior to tip-offs and rally the Mean Green as the men’s team departs from the Austin Hotel, and as the women’s team arrives at the Summit Arena.

Sunday – March 7th
- Sun Belt Conference Alumni and Friends Champagne Reception, Alumni and fans from all Sun Belt schools are invited to join us for a champagne breakfast, so come out, with your North Texas spirit wear, and support the Mean Green in their quest to become Sun Belt Conference Tournament Champions. Don’t forget to stop by the UNT table in the foyer to receive a special giveaway. Complimentary breakfast and mimosas will be served. The reception will also feature live music.

Alumni GameDay Grille
Join the UNT Alumni Association for pregame football parties in the BLUE PARKING LOT, just east of Fouts Field near Mean Green Village. Look for the Mean Green 18-Wheeler and the Regal Eagle bus.
